Our Commitments

At Le Moulin de Charrier, everything begins with a history-laden place, nestled in the heart of an unspoilt environment. Here, every stone, every terrace tells of a deep connection with nature and the traditional crafts of the past. Our labels and partnerships recognise this commitment to a more respectful, more human form of tourism.
Staying at the mill is also a living, tangible experience. In spring 2026, Christophe will breathe new life into several terraces by growing seasonal vegetables, which you will be able to find directly on your plate. In summer, Félicie will introduce you to a flavourful cuisine, prepared mainly from local and/or organic produce.
And because Le Moulin de Charrier is above all a place to be shared, Bernard and Christophe will also invite you to explore its history and how it works. A visit that immerses you in the soul of the place, between heritage, nature and the gestures of a bygone era.
Here, time slows down, encounters become meaningful, and every stay becomes an authentic experience, as close as possible to what truly matters.

Accommodation for Anglers

The Ardèche remains one of the essential destinations for fishing. Come and find your happiness along the Besorgues, a first-category mountain river (see the waterways map) where the use of a maximum of two single barbless hooks with a landing net is mandatory. From the second Saturday in March to the third Sunday in September inclusive, the Besorgues offers catch-and-release sections (all fish caught must be immediately returned to the water), allowing you to discover magnificent and surprising landscapes!

We also invite you to visit us during the Journées Européennes des Moulins (European Mill Days), which take place every year on the 3rd weekend of May.
