Reception room for rent
Le Moulin de Charrier offers a self-catering reception venue featuring a professional kitchen (with an outdoor Rocket Stove pizza oven), a reception room accommodating up to 50 seated guests or 70 guests for a cocktail-style event, and a terrace that is ideal for aperitifs.
Our site lends itself wonderfully to your family gatherings or receptions with friends (wedding, birthday, baptism, bachelor party girl or boy, rally…), to your cocktails like your associative meals.
The reception hall, built in keeping with the style of the 1840 mill it extends, overlooks the Besorgues River. Its floor-to-ceiling windows create a wonderful sense of being immersed in nature.
In good weather, guests can use the terrace in a natural environment.
In winter, the reception hall is heated by a pellet stove.
The professional kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen for 50 people includes:
- 1 professional dishwasher (detergent supplied)
- 1 cooking piano smeg : 5 lights including 2 oven
- 1 professional oven
- 1 microwave oven
- 2 large fridges + 1 small fridge
- 1 freezer
- 1 slicer
On request, we will offer you the list of producers of our territory. So you can surprise your guests by serving a cuisine using mostly local, healthy and natural products of Ardeche’s High Cévenne.
You can invite them to taste:
- The Castagnou, our local aperitif
- The local charcuterie
- Stéphane’s goat cheese and cheese from the Ardèche
- The chestnut in all its forms, cream, jam, liqueur or ice
- The Blueberry pie
- Ardèche’s ice creams and sorbets
- Last but not least, Yohan’s natural sourdough bread (Labastide sur Besorgues) or the one made in the bakery and baked over a wood fire by Petite Boulange (Genestelle).
